Don and I have been handcrafting miniatures since 1978. We both are I.G.M.A. Artisans (since 1983). Our work can be seen in many private collections, books and museums throughout the world. We re-create period decorator fabric, Oriental carpets and Americana hooked rugs, period chandeliers, and room settings. We also represent some of the finest artists and craftsmen in the world. In 1992 we opened a full line miniatures shop in Hightstown, New Jersey called Fran's Miniatures. From there, in 1996, we moved the shop and ourselves to Las Vegas, Nevada. From 2000 to the present we have been selling our miniatures at shows and on the web under the name of MeehanMiniatures A Dollhouse Miniatures Emporium. Don is a Master Photographer, specializing in the art of photographing miniatures. His workshops have been extremely popular, along with the series of articles he wrote for Miniature Collector Magazine.

Every miniature we offer has been hand selected for it's beauty, quality and scale. We only sell things that we would treat ourselves to. In fact, every time I ship an order, there is definitely a feeling of loss. This is truly a labor of love and not just a business venture.
